Does home office mean longer working hours and unpaid extra hours?

The report “Remote Working Market” made by shows that remote working means extended working hours. As many as 69 percent of those working remotely admit in the report that their working hours exceed the standard eight hours, that somewhere escapes both the employee and the employer (most often this happens in small companies, least often in the largest companies). But are this “real” extra hours?
